Referees are always assumed to be available for Saturday afternoon matches, unless they have clearly communicated their unavailability to the relevant people. You will generally receive your appointments by email and they will also be available to you as a download from the website.

Referees with no appointments on a Saturday are assumed to be available until Midday on a stand by basis.

If referees do have to cry off they are encouraged to give as much notice as possible to the Appointments team. If you do have any doubts you are encouraged to cry off in the week before, to facilitate re-appointments.

Match Confirmation Procedure.

Remember it is the club's responsibility to contact the referee. If you have not received confirmation from the club of a Sturday fixture by Tuesday prior to the fixture, you must contact the appointments team. You may then be re-appointed or made available to a suitable level game. If you do not ring you may not be able to be re-appointed to another fixture.
